Having this in mind, Medical Port developed a range of activities including online classes, sessions and workshops, all of them with certified instructors with experience in coaching and guiding remotely.
We emphasize that the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that adults should exercise 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity throughout the week. According to WHO, exercise is essential to decrease the risk of hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, stroke, certain types of cancer, the risk of falls and also depression. An active body benefits from a better musculoskeletal health, the right energetic balance and weight management. Relaxation techniques are also valuable tools for preventing mental diseases and keeping emotional balance.

PHYSICAL EXERCISE LIVE CLASSES
Every class lasts 45 minutes and it is streamed in real-time by videocall. This modality englobes an exercise physiologist who prepares a plan that is structured by body area goals, for all types of bodies and physical conditions levels.
PILATES LIVE CLASSES
Pilates is considered a muscle-strengthening activity, which can help in the maintenance of a healthy weight. It improves flexibility, relieves back pain and increases body density.
YOGA LIVE CLASSES
Yoga exercises release anxiety and support in stress management, improve balance and boost a well-being sensation. Yoga regular participants can have several benefits by working and interconnecting their mind and body.
MEDITATION CLASSES AND RELAXATION SESSIONS
These sessions last 30 minutes and are an excellent way to improve mental and physical health. Meditation and relaxation techniques contribute to negative thoughts’ releasing which is fundamental to focus on what it is really important.
Mindfulness (or full consciousness) is a philosophy whose principles enable to refocus through a better management of our intern resources, experiencing a healthier and sane life. These sessions require a specific protocol guided by a certificated instructor.
